Service Technician - Power Generation

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Technician specialized in Power Generation to join our dedicated team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing power generation equipment and systems, including generators, engines, and related components. Your duties will involve diagnosing issues, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems, conducting preventive maintenance, and ensuring optimal functionality of power generation systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in power generation technology, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with relevant certifications and at least 2 years of experience in a similar role. Responsibilities

1. Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues on power generation equipment such as generators, turbines, and engines.
2. Perform diagnostic tests to identify and repair faults in systems to ensure optimal performance.
3. Inspect, test, and repair electrical components, controls, and systems associated with power generation.
4. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve equipment efficiency and reliability.
5. Maintain accurate records of equipment servicing, repairs, and maintenance schedules.
6. Respond to emergency service calls and provide on-site technical support for critical issues.
7. Safely operate tools and equipment following relevant safety guidelines and procedures.
8. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in power generation technology.
9. Assist in the installation and commissioning of new power generation systems.
10. Support customer training programs by providing technical guidance and instructions on equipment operation and maintenance.

Minimum Requirements

1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Technical certification in power generation or related field
3. Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in servicing power generation equipment
4. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
5. Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems relevant to power generation
