Service Technician (JIMMY)

Job Responsibilities:

• Diagnose & repair vacuum cleaners, washers, hair dryers & small domestic appliances.
• Identify faulty components & replace or repair them as needed.
• Maintain proper documentation of repairs, including parts used & time taken for repair.
• Provide technical support & guidance to customers regarding appliance usage & care.
• Stay updated with the latest repair techniques and advancements in appliance technologies.
• Ensure compliance with company service standards and safety protocols.
• Workspace organization & ensure tools are well maintained.
• Assist in training new & junior technicians.
• Handle customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limit as per company policy & standard.
• Monitor service parts & proactively inform the supervisor or Line Manager when the stock is at a minimum level.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Bachelors / Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
• Established work experience in appliance stores.
• Proven experience in repairing small home appliances (vacuum cleaners, washers, hair dryers, etc.).
• Strong understanding of electrical circuits, mechanical components & troubleshooting techniques.
• Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools & repair equipment.
• Good communication skills to interact with customers & to provide technical support.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals & schematics.
