Job Description

1. Installation and commissioning of all the lab equipment products
2. Arranging pre-installation requirements including supply of instruments
3. Ensuring that the machines are installed properly to avoid any issues with the customer
4. Perform regular and planned timely preventive maintenance to meet Health Authority / Quality Control policies and regulations
5. Prepare and submit detailed service reports for all service work completed on customer sites
6. Ensure that all preventive maintenance is done for all machines
7. Perform regular and timely corrective actions for breakdown calls / troubleshooting
8. Coordinate with ELGA UK on troubleshooting issues, when required
9. Arrange deliveries of spare parts in a timely manner.
10. Supporting the Lab Technicians with any water treatment application-related work that is needed
11. Train and educate customer plant operators on safe / correct operation of their plant
12. Continually enhance your technical knowledge of our products and services

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of increasing / solid expertise in servicing laboratory-based equipment is preferred.
2. Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills are preferred.
3. Extensive knowledge of digital circuits, wiring, programming logic, electrical components, electronics, processors and mathematics.
4. Commissioning and validation experience with strong mechanical knowledge in instrumentation is required.
5. Good understanding of water chemistry as well as water purification technologies and their applications.
6. The ability to multi-task is very important. Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as computer literacy are necessary. Customer focus must be a priority.
