Job Description

Engineering organization in the U.A.E. requires Service Engineers who should be young Indian males below 30 years of age with a Degree in Mechanical/Civil/Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of experience with mechanical equipment used in civil construction and marine sectors.

Applicants must know Microsoft Office, along with excellent communication skills for professional dialogue and technical meetings with local and international clients.

The ideal candidate must have good engineering knowledge, the ability to prepare and deliver effective presentations and be willing to travel overseas for projects and product training.

Experience with engineering equipment used for mixing and pumping concrete, shotcrete, floor screed, grout plants, tunneling equipment, industrial vacuum systems, dredging pumps, amphibious excavators, and dredgers would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues in machinery and equipment, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
• Perform regular maintenance and repairs on equipment, using a keen eye for detail to identify potential problems before they escalate.
• Provide on-site support and training to customers, ensuring they understand how to operate and maintain their equipment effectively.
• Document all service activities, including repairs and maintenance, to maintain accurate records for compliance and customer follow-up.
• Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise during customer consultations and product demonstrations.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies to provide clients with the most effective solutions.
• Create and implement service plans tailored to individual customer needs, enhancing overall satisfaction and loyalty.
• Manage inventory of spare parts and tools required for service tasks, ensuring timely availability for efficient operations.
• Act as a liaison between customers and the engineering team to relay feedback and drive product improvements.
• Participate in emergency response situations, providing quick and efficient solutions to complex breakdowns.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field, providing a solid foundation for understanding complex systems.
• 2-5 years of relevant work experience in a service engineering role within the manufacturing or technology sectors.
• Certifications such as Certified Service Engineer (CSE) or relevant technical certifications that demonstrate expertise.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting software and hardware issues, showcasing strong technical aptitude.
• Fluency in English, with additional language skills preferred to cater to a diverse clientele.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, allowing for quick identification of issues and implementation of effective solutions.
• Strong communication abilities, ensuring clear and concise information exchange with clients and team members.
• Detail-oriented mindset, crucial for accurate diagnostics and comprehensive service documentation.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment, showcasing versatility.
• Willingness to travel frequently for on-site service calls, demonstrating commitment to customer satisfaction.
