Service Advisor (Fleet Maintenance)

Alokozay Group of Companies is looking for an experienced Service Advisor who will be responsible for managing the maintenance and repair needs of the company’s fleet of vehicles. This role involves acting as the main point of contact for coordinating service appointments, providing cost estimates, and ensuring that fleet vehicles are serviced and maintained efficiently to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and prioritize fleet vehicle service appointments, ensuring minimal disruption to the company’s operations.
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely, efficient, and accurate completion of repairs and maintenance for multiple vehicles.
• Track the status of fleet vehicles under service and provide updates on progress and expected completion times.
• Ensure that all fleet vehicles are maintained according to safety standards, manufacturer guidelines, and company requirements.
• Provide detailed service estimates to fleet managers or supervisors based on vehicle diagnostics and maintenance needs.
• Review service invoices, ensuring accuracy in charges for parts, labor, and additional services.
• Maintain accurate records of all service-related transactions, and prepare invoices for payment.
• Assist with any billing inquiries, ensuring prompt and accurate resolution.
• Monitor the service history of fleet vehicles to ensure they remain compliant with maintenance schedules.
• Track warranty periods, service recalls, and ensure that any necessary repairs or maintenance are performed in a timely manner.
• Recommend regular or preventative maintenance services to keep the fleet in top working condition and reduce the risk of unplanned breakdowns.
• Address complaints or service issues promptly, ensuring that any concerns are resolved.
• Coordinate emergency repairs or breakdown services for fleet vehicles that require immediate attention.
• Troubleshoot service-related issues with vehicles and provide solutions or escalate to the appropriate technician if necessary.
• Ensure that the correct parts are available for repairs and maintenance and communicate with parts suppliers as necessary.
• Maintain detailed records of all service work performed on each fleet vehicle.
• Prepare regular reports for fleet managers that include service history, costs, and upcoming maintenance schedules.
• Identify opportunities for additional services that might benefit the fleet, such as tire replacements, oil changes, or fleet-wide safety checks.
• Provide information on new services, vehicle accessories, or products that might enhance fleet performance.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, automotive technology, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in fleet service advising, automotive service; UAE experience is mandatory.
• Familiarity with fleet maintenance management, vehicle diagnostics, and industry standards.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple vehicles and appointments simultaneously.
• Knowledge of fleet maintenance practices, automotive repair, and vehicle systems.
• Proficient in using service management software and Microsoft Office Suite (or similar tools).
