Service Advisor

Responsibilities:

1. Perform write-up of Pre order and DMS job card, including entering customer information: name, address, email, telephone numbers, date, and description of customer concerns.
2. Ensure to write up notes, comments, and marks into the pre-order and highlight any damages or missing items.
3. Obtain the customer signature on the job card.
4. Coordinate with the Foreman to determine the amount of work needed on the vehicle and prepare job card.
5. Keep the customer updated and provide regular follow-up calls.
6. Keep WIP report updated on a regular basis.
7. Assist Service joiner advisor wherever required.
8. Make preliminary evaluation whether work will be covered under warranty or if the customer will pay.
9. Obtain prior repair approval from the customer when required and keep approval evidence.
10. Review customer service history for indication that current repair requests have been noted/repaired previously.
11. Advise the customer on the type of service needed for the vehicle.
12. Advise the customer on the overall performance of the vehicle.
13. Coordinate with Customer Relations Representative (After Sales) for solving customer complaints.
14. Perform other duties as requested by the Service Manager.
15. Maintain a decent attitude and good appearance at all times.
16. Maintain company assets and ensure a clean and organized work area.
17. Adhere to health and safety procedure regulations.

Desired Candidate Profile:

1. Must embody in-depth knowledge about MG and technical aspects of cars to properly advise customers on vehicle necessities.
2. Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect and build rapport with customers, encouraging retention and brand loyalty.
3. Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar capacity.
4. Driving license is a must.
5. Fluency in English & Arabic is preferred.
6. A bachelor’s degree in any discipline or diploma.
