Job Description:

Are you passionate about cars and skilled at providing top-notch customer service? We are looking for a knowledgeable Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive systems, parts, and services, combined with excellent communication and customer service skills. You will play a key role in assisting customers, recommending services, and ensuring that every interaction is seamless and professional.

Responsibilities:

1. Greet and interact with customers to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs.
2. Provide expert advice on car repairs, parts, and maintenance, based on customer issues.
3. Review and explain service recommendations, estimates, and work orders to customers.
4. Coordinate with the service technicians and parts department to ensure timely and accurate repairs.
5. Schedule service appointments and maintain communication with customers throughout the process.
6. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional manner.
7. Ensure a smooth handover of vehicles to customers once work is completed.
8. Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
9. Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies, parts, and services.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Service Advisor, Service Writer, or similar role in an automotive environment.
2. Strong knowledge of automotive systems, parts, and repair processes.
3. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
4. Ability to explain complex automotive issues to customers in a clear, understandable manner.
5. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
6. Experience working with a team of technicians and managing labor resources.
7. Knowledge of automotive software or service management systems is a plus.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
