Job description
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a seamless communication flow regarding service needs and vehicle issues.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle assessments to accurately diagnose problems and communicate findings to customers in an understandable manner.
  • Schedule service appointments efficiently, balancing customer needs with shop capacity to maximize productivity.
  • Coordinate with technicians to relay customer concerns and ensure accurate repairs and maintenance are performed.
  • Create detailed service estimates for customers, breaking down costs and services to foster transparency and trust.
  • Follow up with customers post-service to gather feedback and reinforce customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Promote additional services and products based on customer needs and vehicle maintenance schedules.
  • Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and service techniques to provide informed recommendations to customers.
  • Ensure a welcoming and organized service area, enhancing the overall customer experience from the moment they arrive.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • ASE certification or similar credentials that validate technical knowledge and expertise in automotive service.
  • Bilingual candidates are highly preferred, particularly those fluent in English and another language relevant to the customer base.
  • Proficient in using dealership management systems and service writing software to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and effectively address their concerns and needs.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to explain complex automotive issues using clear, non-technical language that customers can easily understand.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a focus on delivering solutions that enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Physical ability to lift and move items as needed, and to stand for extended periods while assisting customers in the service area.
