Server-Side/iOS Swift Developer (Contract - Onsite)

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Server-Side/iOS Swift Developer to join Level Shoes, Chalhoub Group, on a contract basis (6 to 12 months, with potential for full-time conversion). You will work on building scalable backend services using Vapor Swift and modern backend technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Vapor Swift.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, MongoDB, Redis, and ElasticSearch for optimized performance.
• Work closely with frontend, mobile, and product teams for seamless system integration.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes-based deployments, and cloud infrastructure.
• Optimize backend services for performance, security, and scalability.

Must-Have Skills

• 6+ years of experience, including at least 2 years in backend Swift (or equivalent backend experience).
• Expertise in Vapor Swift, RESTful APIs, MongoDB, Redis, and ElasticSearch.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, Kubernetes, and containerized environments.
• Hands-on experience with payment gateway integrations.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable backend code.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with AWS or cloud-based hosting.
• Familiarity with Swift Package Manager (SPM) and DevOps best practices.

Additional Details

• Location: Dubai HQ (onsite; relocation support available).
• Contract: 6-12 months, potential for permanent hire.
