Job description

As an SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to improve our website's visibility, drive organic traffic, and support our overall digital marketing efforts. You will work closely with our content, development, and marketing teams to optimize our app and website content, perform keyword research, and analyze SEO performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Implement SEO Strategies: Create and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to enhance our website's search engine rankings and increase organic traffic.
  2. Keyword Research and Analysis: Conduct keyword research to identify relevant and high-traffic keywords for our app and website. Analyze keyword performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
  3. On-Page Optimization: Optimize website content, meta tags, headers, and other on-page elements to improve search engine visibility and user experience.
  4. Technical SEO: Work with the development team to ensure that the website and app are technically sound and meet SEO best practices, including site speed, mobile-friendliness, and crawlability.
  5. Content Strategy: Collaborate with the content team to develop and implement content strategies that drive organic traffic and engage users.
  6. Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools. Provide regular reports and insights to the team.
  7. Competitor Analysis: Monitor and analyze competitor websites and SEO strategies to identify opportunities and stay ahead in the industry.
  8. Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices to ensure our strategies remain effective and compliant.

Requirements:

  1. Proven Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in SEO, preferably in the tech or app development industry.
  2. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of SEO principles, on-page and off-page optimization, keyword research, and technical SEO.
  3. Analytical Skills: Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar tools.
  4. Content Management: Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal.
  5. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
  6. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  7. Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and trends.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience with app store optimization (ASO) is a plus.
  2. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
