Developing and implementing leasing strategies: Develop, formalize and execute a leasing strategy, while maximizing occupancy rates and rental income. This may include conducting market research to understand the local market and competition and identifying target tenants.
Financial management: Manage the financial aspects of the leasing operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and tracking performance against targets. Deep understanding of business P&L statements.
Rent Rate Growth: Responsible to increase the growth in rental rates over time through competitive rental rates negotiation.
Leadership skills: Responsible for managing the leasing team, setting performance targets, monitoring performance, and providing training and development opportunities.
Relationships: Manage tenant relationships. Also, have strong working relationships with major groups within the UAE – Al Shaya, Landmark, Chalhoub, and Al Tayer among others.
International Relationships: Contact with key international groups and brands to introduce Al Dar projects and secure such value addition brands within the portfolio.
Negotiating lease agreements: Responsible for negotiating lease agreements with prospective tenants. This includes reviewing and approving lease documents, negotiating rental rates and lease terms.
