Senior Telecom Engineer

Job Responsibilities

1. Execute engineering design, FEED, and detail engineering experience, along with costing estimation for proposals in telecom systems.
2. Responsible for complete engineering document activities, including preparing block diagrams, functional design specifications, datasheets, MR, equipment layouts, interconnection drawings, termination drawings, and cabinet drawings.
3. Participate in technical bid evaluations, vendor document review, and approvals.
4. Maintain technical competence in discipline according to standards and pursue continuous professional development.
5. Provide discipline support to the business.
6. Stay aware of relevant regulatory frameworks, legislation changes, initiatives, and industry technology developments, and promote these to direct reports.
7. Provide discipline input to scope definition and execution.
8. Deputize for principal as required.
9. Support and supervise tasks delegated to direct reports.
10. Execute assigned personal objectives.
11. Manage third-party suppliers in the execution of engineering delivery.
12. Adhere to and comply with relevant discipline-specific procedures and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
13. Participate in audits and incident investigations as required.
14. Coach and mentor as delegated.
15. Provide input to the performance management of direct reports.
16. Manage and supervise direct reports.
