As a Senior Technician in the Savory Lab, you'll work on diverse projects to develop and refine products, supporting the business strategy within the Savory segment. Your role will contribute to providing high-quality solutions that meet market trends and customer needs.

• Develops innovative savory food applications.
• Collaboration with internal stakeholders (mainly flavorist & commercial team) to answer customers' needs.
• Independently run the application laboratory work and prepare samples for evaluation purposes and submissions to clients.
• Supports clients during the product development process and presents dsm-firmenich technologies.
• Maintains and applies good laboratory practice; manages various administrative internal systems/tasks and keeps daily records on orders, dispatch, and laboratory work.
• Manages stock of lab supplies & raw material as well as storage of samples prepared and maintains a clean and well-organized laboratory/workplace.
• Maintains a deep knowledge of flavor collection and demonstrates that knowledge during project execution.
• Independently operates standard equipment/procedures to the required level.

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science or related fields.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in Food / Flavour Product Development.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate cross-functional communication, autonomous, with strong time management and organizational skills and the ability to take initiative.
• Technical education in food formulation or flavours; MENA region is a plus.
• Capable of handling multiple projects in a methodical manner, within short deadlines.
• Fluent in English.
