Senior Technical- SME MDM

Job Purpose
A highly skilled Technical SME with expertise in MDM using Informatica. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of the MDM strategy, processes, and technologies. They will also be expected to provide expert guidance and support to the MDM team and key stakeholders.

Job Specification

1. Education: Bachelors or Masters Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a relevant field.
2. 14+ years of demonstrated experience in MDM or data management.
3. Implemented MDM Framework in a bank using Informatica.

Work Experience:

1. Strong understanding of MDM concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
2. Proven expertise in MDM tools such as Informatica, IBM InfoSphere MDM, Reltio, or similar platforms.
3. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Job Description:

1. Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, collaborative team environment.
2. Relevant certifications in MDM and data management, such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or equivalent.
3. Experience in leading MDM projects and initiatives in large enterprises.
4. Excellent knowledge of MDM principles, procedures, and practices.
5. Advanced knowledge of SQL and database systems.
6. Strong understanding of data architecture and data modeling.
7. Excellent communication and analytical skills.
8. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking ability.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
11. Develop, implement and maintain MDM policies, procedures, and standards.
12. Lead the remediation of data issues and ensure the quality and accuracy of data.
13. Create and execute data quality metrics and reporting.
14. Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure compliance with MDM policies.
15. Identify risks and recommend solutions to improve MDM practices.
16. Monitor the performance of the MDM program and develop improvement initiatives.
