The role of Senior Tax Analyst is supporting the Head of Tax and Tax Senior Manager in the delivery of the groups tax compliance responsibilities and the provision of advice to the business on existing and new initiatives including:
Reporting and Compliance
Assisting with the groups outsourced tax compliance processes including reviewing CEMEA wide tax filings
Preparing of tax forecasts and tax payments
Preparation of USGAAP quarterly and year end reporting including deferred taxes and FIN48 reviews
Assisting with preparation of year end reporting for statutory accounts disclosures for the region
Maintenance of tax team core source data and regular requests such as residency certificates and withholding taxes declarations.
Liaising with stakeholders across Visa global tax CEMEA finance treasury and legal.
Advisory Related
Assisting with operational business queries regarding withholding taxes and VAT.
Assisting with cross border profit distributions and/or intercompany payments
Assisting with corporate tax audits within the region
Assisting with VAT management for the region.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 23 set days a week (determined by leadership/site) with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications :
5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree
OR
At least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
