Job Description

Our Multi National Consultancy client has a new requirement for a well experienced Senior Sustainability Consultant to join their team in Dubai to work on new build projects in the Emirates. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Senior Sustainability Consultant working on similar projects in the UAE. Only candidates with a track record of working for recognised supervision consultants or PMC Companies will be considered.

This role is available for immediate joining and is an initial 6 month contract position hire as an outsource, employed by J10 Consulting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Independently manage complex projects and resolve complex project issues
2. Independent commercial management of projects
3. Generating multiple instances of repeat work with clients
4. Preparation of proposals and seeking and winning new work with existing clients
5. Client oriented and contributes to commercial success of the division
6. Development of strong relationships with existing clients through project delivery
7. Provide guidance and leadership to more junior team members and provide formal mentorship
8. Industry leadership through participation in industry professional groups and conferences

Desired Candidate Profile:

Senior Sustainability Consultant Experience:

1. Ideally qualified to MSc degree level with relevant academic or with post academic professional qualifications (LEED / BREEAM etc) to carry out the role
2. Generally, a minimum of 4-8 years of professional experience
3. Extensive experience and high-level competencies in specialised areas
4. Contributes valuable insights to projects
5. Hold responsibility for the overall delivery of the project
6. Manage both the technical and commercial aspects of projects
7. Provides guidance and mentorship to more junior team members
