Senior Supply Chain Manager | MAF Retail | UAE Corporate Head Office
ROLE SUMMARY
The Senior Manager Supply Chain is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the supply chain processes for Retail Discount, ensuring the efficient movement of goods and materials from suppliers and manufacturers to customers. This role involves managing the day-to-day operations of Sourcing Hubs, coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement in Supply Chain, Inbound, replenishment, and distribution activities. The Senior Manager works to enhance overall supply chain effectiveness, aligning logistics strategies with broader business goals and ensuring timely, cost-effective delivery of products.
ROLE PROFILE
- Contribute to the Supply Chain strategy that is aligned with the overall corporate strategy and ensure its proper implementation.
- Propose and implement solutions in the supply chain management to support the company expansion.
- Propose and implement supply chain solutions related to merchandise and store needs.
- Identify potential risks and recommend action plans to ensure safe and healthy conditions for merchandise inventory and operations in Distribution Centers.
- Work with the sourcing hubs located in various countries and drive cost efficient logistics solution.
- Stay abreast of changes in regulations related to customs.
- Responsible for the logistics project for specific or cross functional departments (transport, operation, replenishment, import/export, digital).
- Optimize logistics operations to increase integration, minimize delays, and prevent stockouts.
- Oversee the management of distribution center stock days and cold chain compliance to meet operational targets and quality standards.
- Monitor logistics cost (handling and transportation) implement the most efficient warehouse layout and transportation planning.
- Contribute to the proper execution of promotion events to ensure products are in store on time with the lowest distribution costs possible.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
- 10+ years of experience in a similar role.
- 4+ years in retail.
- Management of a large and complex organization.
- Excellent project management.
- Analytical and decision-making abilities.
