Develop and review temporary support designs for fabrication, erection, lifting, loadout, transportation, and installation of jackets, topsides, and modules, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with project requirements.
Perform lift analysis and yard upending analysis for offshore structures, ensuring alignment with DNV, API, and industry standards.
Conduct loadout and yard transportation analysis, considering weight distribution, stability, and transportation constraints.
Design grillage and seafastening solutions for the transportation of jackets, topsides, and modules
Execute structural finite element analysis (FEA) using ANSYS, evaluating load effects, stress distributions, and fatigue life to ensure compliance with international engineering standards.
Review and validate engineering drawings, method statements, and technical reports related to fabrication, lifting, loadout, transportation, and installation.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Naval, Structural, Civil, or Offshore Engineering (or equivalent).
8+ years of experience in offshore jacket and topside fabrication engineering.
Proficiency in SACS and ANSYS for structural analysis, including static, dynamic, and fatigue assessments.
Strong expertise in lifting, loadout, transportation, and installation engineering, with a deep understanding of offshore fabrication processes.
Hands-on experience in grillage and seafastening design for marine transportation, including structural integrity assessments and securing methodologies.
In-depth knowledge of DNV, API, ISO, and AISC standards governing offshore structural engineering.
Ability to work remotely while effectively coordinating with fabrication yards and offshore project teams.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to optimize designs for constructability, operational efficiency, and safety.
