Senior Strategy Specialist

Job Purpose:

The role of the Senior Strategy Specialist is to support the Strategy Section Head by coordinating with all departments to ensure the functional strategies are in alignment with the overarching organisational strategy, advising on goal & target setting, KPI development, and proactively following up with individual units, sections and departments to track and report on progress.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Strategy Section Head in developing and documenting the museum-wide annual and longer-term strategy, coordinating with individual unit, section and department representatives.
• Conduct research and analyses of operational effectiveness, processes, stakeholders, etc.
• Support department teams in defining and aligning departmental goals, processes and resource allocation with the overarching museum strategy.
• Support the section head with researching and documentation of the museum SWOT analysis.
• Produce presentations and reports on findings, projections and recommended actions.
• Support the planning and implementation of proposed recommendations and projects.
• Monitor and report on annual operational plans, KPIs and projects.
• Assist in the development and maintain annual planning process and the documentation of all departmental plans, providing guidance and support to departmental representatives.

Required Experience:

• Experience in a management consulting or strategic planning role.
• Understanding of business operations and procedures.

• Proven research and analytical abilities.
• Project coordination experience.

Required Education / Qualifications:

Bachelor’s in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent.
