Job Description

The Training Manager will lead the training and learning program for ZeDrivers across the Limo and Taxi categories. The role will be integral to transforming the training experience by creating unique and customized content for multiple learning personas and capabilities. The Training Manager should be able to assess current learning trends, analyze data to identify gaps, and fast track training through innovative modes of learning at scale.

Strategic Responsibilities

  • Create learning strategies, evaluate training needs, design training programs, and assess learning effectiveness.
  • Create innovative learning modules to train Drivers at scale.
  • Engage drivers across their life-cycle to drive continuous improvement and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop an effective storyboard for training and drive training narrative based on needs and gaps identified across the board.
  • Make Drivers love Zed and help push Zed as the go-to platform for ride-hailing amongst the driver community.
  • Act as a liaison between the Zed training team and the training teams of different taxi and limo companies (such as Cars Taxi, National, Al Salaam, and more).

Operational Responsibilities

  • Create new learning content including in-person training modules, interactive presentations, videos, webinars, and podcasts.
  • Create compelling written and visual content.
  • Work with a production agency to create bite-sized video content (30 sec to 2 min) using creative storyboarding and animations.
  • Conduct in-person training sessions and weekly online webinars to keep drivers engaged and drive a continuous learning process.
  • Drive LMS adoption across the Driver base.
  • Provide training and guidance to the training teams of respective taxi franchisees (train the trainer process) and provide them with information and training on the latest Zed app and process updates.

People Management

  • In the future, lead a team of trainers and content developers.

Product/Process Improvement

  • Work with internal stakeholders to understand the latest developments related to customer and driver experiences and incorporate them into the driver learning experience.
  • Pass on feedback to internal stakeholders (such as product, marketing, and operations) to improve driver experience and complete the feedback loop 360 degrees.

Qualifications

Education & Certifications:

  • PREFERRED: Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, multimedia design, literature, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • MINIMUM: Bachelor's degree (Any).

Knowledge & Skill:

  • Proven experience as L&D Manager or Training Manager.
  • Proficiency with various LMS tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of conveying complex ideas to diverse audiences.
  • Basic experience with graphic design tools.

Experience:

  • PREFERRED: 5+ years of managerial experience in a corporate training environment.
  • MINIMUM: 3+ years of managerial experience in a corporate training environment.
