Design and lead extensive market research and competitive analysis of the Energy industry utilising primary and secondary data sources, in support of ADNOC's strategic goals. Conduct in-depth analysis and present outcomes to Senior Management within ADNOC and across various stakeholders. Provide guidance and feedback on Competitive and Market Intelligence techniques and methodologies.
Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 1)
Lead the market research and intelligence data gathering and analysis, perform market competitiveness and positioning studies on major international and regional market conditions, competitors and customers to support in creating more effective business strategies and decision making.
Deliver Competitive Intelligence reports and presentations on industry developments within the upstream and downstream businesses that are relevant to ADNOC's business transformation.
Prepare Market Intelligence reports and presentations that track key global and regional energy trends and indicators and advise on international energy issues, including global and regional trends, particularly developments in the oil and gas sector.
Maintain a strong network of industry contacts, strong knowledge of the competitive positioning of major IOC's and NOC's with respect to ADNOC as well as their immediate and long-term strategies.
Contribute to the enhancement of energy markets research methodology in the preparation of required studies in the areas of oil and gas, the global energy sector, and related industries.
Ensure Competitive and Market Intelligence department business planning processes are effective and continuously improved.
Lead development of corporate benchmarks, as well as sector benchmarks with relevant ADNOC Directorates.
Research and track policy developments affecting the fiscal and regulatory terms governing the upstream and downstream oil and gas sectors.
Collaborate to ensure consistency of ADNOC's market analysis.
Prepare ad-hoc reports for senior management on prompt critical issues concerning the Energy Industry.

Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with best industry standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.

Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures, controls, applicable legislation, and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices.
Reports
Provide inputs to prepare Management Information System and progress reports for Company Management.
Internal Communications & Working Relationships
Regular work related contacts with Department Manager and all staff and team members within the Function on matters related to Competitive and Market Intelligence (policies, operations, administration, people, HSE and integrity).
Contacts with senior management of all Functions in TEO.
Regular contacts with other Directorates (like Finance, Upstream, DMT, Group IT, etc.).
Regular contact with Management of ADNOC Group Companies.
External Communications & Working Relationships
Counterparts & members of the ADNOC Group, Stakeholders, as required.
Local and international vendors, contractors and third-party service providers.

Intergovernmental organizations, and international bodies.
Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills
10 years' experience in Business Development, Competitive Intelligence and Marketing, including 3 years in advisory roles.
Experience in the Oil and Gas industry is required.
Track record of presentations related to oil and gas / energy markets.
