Senior Specialist

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Review of the GL and prepare various journal entries and assist in the periodic closing of books as per accounting standards.
2. Complete review of Oracle entities TB and submit preliminary analysis for review.
3. Monthly/quarterly reporting in FCCS which includes TB Upload, journal submission and entity promotion.
4. Prepare quarterly notes to the financial statement and analytics in FCCS.
5. Preparation of the Budget Update for review (including reconciliation as well as contingency allocations).
6. Performance of Actual vs. Budget analysis for OPEX/CAPEX and preparation of Dashboard Commentaries.
7. Prepare quarterly/yearly consolidated group notes for Mubadala Group.
8. Liaison with Internal and External Auditors for the supporting documents.
9. Responsible for the cash call coding.
10. Responsible for Contract coding before uploading to the system.
11. Responsible for the creation of oracle entity and ICP code.
12. Prepare and update standard operating procedures and Desktop procedures, as deemed necessary.
13. Responsible for the retention & accurate filing of accounting documents to ensure that the legal and MIC BMS requirements & guidelines are met.
14. Maintain accurate electronic and manual filing systems and records that provide ease of retrieval and audit logs.
15. Respond to queries raised by Notes reviewers and internal/external auditors.
16. Liaison with operating investees for adhoc requests and compilation of information requested by regulatory authorities (i.e SCAD, ESR).
17. Compiling ICFR documents requested by clients or auditors.
18. Handle other ADHOC reports and tasks as per Management requests.

Qualification details:

1. Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Operations or Accounting.
2. Relevant professional accounting certification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA is a must.
