About the OpportunityThe Senior Solutions Consultant is responsible and will lead the technical and competitive aspects of the sales cycle, with a focus on the Middle East higher education sector. Collaborating with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Partners, you will map customer needs and goals into strategic, value-driven solutions, positioning Ellucian as a long-term partner. This role requires building strong relationships with both new and existing customers, showcasing thought leadership, and helping institutions achieve key objectives through innovative software solutions.
This role is ideal for a strategic, customer-focused solutions consultant passionate about higher education and SaaS technology who thrives in a dynamic, high-impact environment.
Where You Will Make an Impact:
- Collaborate with Account Executives to qualify prospects, matching Ellucian’s software capabilities to customer requirements, and ensuring solutions effectively address institutional challenges.
- Coordinate strategy and discovery calls, represent Ellucian at conferences, and provide robust technical support throughout the sales process. Innovate and refine the demonstration of Ellucian products to showcase real-world impact.
- Conduct workshops, gather and analyze business requirements, and present tailored solutions, collaborating with Professional Services for seamless handoffs.
- Establish trust with stakeholders by offering strategic guidance, options, and actionable plans that drive productivity and expertise within the team.
What You Will Bring:
- In-depth knowledge of the higher education sector in the Middle East, with experience using or implementing higher education software (Ellucian SIS like Banner, Quercus, Elevate, or PowerCampus is a plus).
- Solid understanding of SaaS solutions and ERP implementation. Familiarity with modern software technologies (e.g., REST APIs, React JS) and system architecture is desirable.
- Exceptional ability to articulate complex software functionality and guide diverse audiences through demonstrations that showcase application relevance and ease of use.
- Strong multi-tasking, prioritization, decision-making, and time management skills to lead multiple demands and discussions effectively.
- Fluency in Arabic is advantageous; travel within the Middle Eastern region is required.
