Job Responsibilities:
IP telephony design and implementation experience with multivendor platforms, including Cisco UC Manager / Call Manager (CUCM), Avaya, etc.
Manage voice service incidents efficiently and assure high system uptime.
Responsible for Cisco Unified Communications Design and End to End Project Delivery.
Drive process improvement, deliver efficiency, and provide specifications of existing UC architecture to which solutions are defined, managed, and delivered.
Hands-on experience with Unified Communication Audio, Video technologies, and Cisco Networking technologies.
Lead the integration and interoperability of UC with multiple applications and platforms.
Provide support and assistance in UC fault isolation and performance management processes as requested.
Design and implement monitoring and reporting that exposes quality metrics necessary to measure the performance and effectiveness of Enterprise UC services, and to support decisions for continuous improvements.
Provide real-time assistance to UC Multimedia Operations staff and troubleshooting efforts in an on-demand function.
Liaison with internal and external technical resources to define optimum solutions to quality challenges.
Maintain and update skillset as it relates to what are coming trends in UC technologies and methods of delivering a future-focused collaborative environment.
Develop and maintain comprehensive technical artifacts pertaining to the design, standards, implementation, assessment, and analysis of Enterprise UC services.
Provide training, webinars, and whitepapers as necessary to customers and on demand.
Communicate proactively and effectively with customers.
Desired Candidate Profile:
10+ years of IP telephony design and implementation experience with multivendor platforms, including Cisco UC Manager / Call Manager (CUCM), Avaya, etc.
Concept of Cisco Unity / Cisco Unity Connection (CUC) and Cisco Emergency Responder (CER).
Experience in the following areas: Contact Center, Telepresence, or Collaboration Suite.
Managing voice service incidents efficiently and assuring high system uptime.
Knowledge of Cisco, Avaya, and Mitel is a must.
Working with the vendors and suppliers that provide staff outsourcing, hardware support, software, and leased carrier services.
Strong knowledge of CTI, Call Center, SIP, VoIP technologies and their deployment in a multisite enterprise infrastructure.
Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking; data communications, network infrastructure and operating systems, DNS network/internet protocols (SMTP, HTTP, SNMP, Windows Domain services).
Project Management ability or experience.
Experience in Large Corporate, Government projects.
Hands-on in multi-vendor deployment.
Experience with the following skills: Architecture of Cisco, Avaya, & Other leading Collaboration vendors.
Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE) and SIP Trunking.
Cisco IM & Presence Server (IM&P) / Cisco Jabber.
Cisco UC Manager Automation.
Telepresence Management Suite (TMS), Telepresence Server.
Voice IOS Gateways with H.323, MGCP, SIP.
Cisco Unified Survivable Remote Site Telephony (SRST).
Cisco Contact Center (UCCX/UCCE).
Call Recording.
Cisco UC Manager Automation.
Traditional and Smart Licensing.
