Responsibilities

Here’s a snapshot of what your responsibilities would include:

1. The primary focus will be developing the next-generation of Mumzworld mobile applications (iOS and Android).
2. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure; therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important.
3. Participating in the overall application lifecycle.
4. Developing interfaces using React-native & other technologies.
5. Translating designs and wireframes into high quality reusable components.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, and Backend Engineering, to deliver high-impact features and improvements.
7. Recommending and implementing improvements to processes and technologies.
8. Drive the technical vision and direction of Mumzworld’s Mobile applications by participating in architectural decisions and technology evaluations.

Your Skills

Your skills would include:

1. 6+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on web and mobile applications.
2. Strong proficiency with Javascript & Typescript.
3. Deep understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and expertise with ReactJS & React Native frameworks (including Expo).
4. Passion for delivering beautifully crafted visual interfaces.
5. Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle, Android Studio.
6. Deep understanding of iOS and Android SDKs, and appreciation of difference when building native applications.
7. Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices and principles.
8. Experience with performance testing frameworks (Jest).
9. Experience utilizing GraphQL APIs (Apollo, React Query).
10. Experience with projects related to E-commerce, Operations, and Multi System Integrations is a plus.
11. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
12. Technical leadership / mentoring experience.
