HERE'S A SNAPSHOT OF WHAT YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WOULD INCLUDE:

1. Design and implement robust end-to-end data pipeline architectures.
2. Develop, maintain, and optimise ETL processes to handle large volumes of data.
3. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
4. Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, ensuring data quality and integrity checks.
5. Implement data orchestration when and where needed.
6. Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.

YOUR SKILLS WOULD INCLUDE:

1. Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
2. Hands-on experience with at least one scripting language, particularly Python.
3. Proven experience in building and implementing end-to-end data pipeline architectures.
4. Strong understanding of data warehouses such as Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, etc.
5. Understanding of data orchestration technologies (e.g., Apache Airflow, Dagster, Google Cloud Composer).
6. Knowledge of big data file formats such as Parquet, Avro, Orc etc.
7. Familiarity with data modeling techniques (Kimball/Data-Vault).
8. Experience working with big data processing frameworks like Apache Spark/Hadoop/Apache Flink.
9. Experience with CI/CD development tools such as GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, etc.
10. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

NICE TO HAVE:

1. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
2. Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
3. Understanding of machine learning workflows and data science principles.
4. Experience with real-time data processing and streaming technologies.
