Senior Software Engineer

Sahem is building the leading MENA private market investing platform. We’re on a mission to democratize early stage investing and empower everyone to own a piece of the region’s most promising ventures.

We're creating a next-gen equity crowdfunding platform built on Next.js, and we're looking for someone who is eager to grow with us as we revolutionize the way startups raise capital.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate closely with a small, agile team to develop and enhance our Next.js platform.
2. Utilize expertise to implement innovative and reliable solutions.
3. Work on the complete product lifecycle, ensuring seamless user interactions and pioneering features.
4. Contribute directly to projects that will be highly visible to our users, shaping the way they engage with our platform and the startups they invest in.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including a minimum of 3 years working with Next.js or React.
2. Proficiency in the web development lifecycle.
3. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently to implement solutions.
4. The ability to act as a tech lead, to help in the planning, and provide assistance to junior developers.

Preferred - experience with implementing PWAs.
