Job description

Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs, policies, procedures, and guidelines for offshore projects.
Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and safety audits to mitigate potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs and recommend improvements as necessary.
Provide technical guidance on safety-related matters to project teams, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for preventive measures.
Participate in project planning and design reviews to ensure safety considerations are integrated into project execution.
Conduct safety training sessions and workshops for personnel involved in offshore operations.
Review and approve contractor safety plans and ensure adherence to safety standards during construction, commissioning, and operation phases.
Collaborate with regulatory agencies and participate in audits and inspections to demonstrate compliance with safety regulations.
