Responsibilities:

Our newest opportunity is for a talented OSH Engineer to join our award-winning team based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The OSH Engineer will be responsible for maintaining effective operation and management of KEO’s Safety Management System on our project, providing HSE advice and information to KEO staff and contractors, to raise the standards of Health and Safety on site.

We envisage success in this role to include:

1. Monitor and enforce standards of safety in compliance with KEO’s Health and Safety Management System and Client requirements.
2. Perform facility inspections and report on conditions affecting daily operations.
3. Monitor and track all facility-related activities.
4. Provide FM technical support to the maintenance teams.
5. Review and inspect work areas, determining potential occurrences of safety hazards.
6. Observe and ensure staff on site always wear personal protective equipment, use hard hats and protective footwear, operate construction equipment safely, and follow KEO’s safety policies.
7. Conduct daily inspections of the projects to ensure compliance and, where applicable, make recommendations for change.
8. In case of emergency, determine and investigate the cause of the accident, establish a report, and provide recommendation(s) to prevent future occurrences.
9. Develop and implement safety policies needed to reduce accident-related costs.
10. Regulate set policies, soliciting input from managers and workers.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 12 years' career experience partnered with a Diploma or Bachelor Degree in a relevant field.

NEBOSH International Diploma or equivalent along with ISO-45001 Lead Auditor qualification are required.

Project experience gained from working on Villa projects will be preferred.

Must be open to work night shifts.
