Senior Safety Inspection Engineer - Drilling WorkoverOperations

Responsibilities:

1. Facilitating the implementation of the This Company Safety Management System, along with its objectives and expectations, including developing associated safety processes and participating in self-assessments.
2. Inspecting onshore and offshore drilling rigs, workover equipment, and other support facilities, with in-depth knowledge of well control equipment and procedures obtained through attending Basic Well Control School.
3. Identifying, evaluating, recommending actions, and following up on critical safety tasks and control methodologies related to operational safety practices such as:
   1. Work at height
   2. Isolation/LOTO
   3. Permit to work
   4. Hydrogen sulfide
   5. Confined space entry
   6. Excavations
4. Participating in safety studies and activities using risk assessment and mitigation methodologies, such as:
   1. PHAs
   2. HAZOPs
   3. JSAs
   4. Incident investigations
   5. Compliance reviews
   6. Insurance surveys
5. Developing and/or reviewing corporate safety standards, instructions, and procedures related to upstream operations, formalizing them into company-documented practices as required.
6. Reviewing designs of oil and gas field facilities for compliance with company and industry safety standards.
7. Assisting in the development of Emergency Response Plans for credible scenarios, with a working knowledge of the Incident Command System (ICS), and attending emergency drills as an observer to provide feedback.
8. Responding to emergency situations and incidents, providing technical assistance and advice during or after regular working hours.
