Job Title: Senior Reservations Supervisor

Department: Reservations

The Senior Reservations Supervisor is responsible for helping to run the Reservations Department. He/She coordinates the department and oversees individual training. He/She directs the department in selling suites/apartments and manages inventory to maximize transient sales.

What you will be doing?

1. Assists in monitoring and managing the reservationist team to ensure excellent customer service.
2. Contributes globally to guest satisfaction through the quality of his/her work and exemplary behavior.
3. Maximizes occupancy by ensuring high conversion of enquiries into bookings.
4. Supervises, monitors calls, coaches, counsels, trains, disciplines, and reviews reservation agents.
5. Evaluates Reservation Agents' performance and productivity to ensure they meet service level goals.
6. Provides an excellent introduction to the Hotel and its services regarding the information given about the hotel and surrounding area.
7. Ensures that administrative procedures never take priority over guest relations.
8. Takes into account and anticipates guests' needs.
9. Deals swiftly, efficiently, and sensitively with guest complaints that cannot be settled directly by team members and follows through.
10. Conveys the brand and hotel image through his/her irreproachable attitude.
11. Helps increase guest loyalty through quality of service.
12. Ensures all documents are filed properly and files are labelled clearly.
13. Provides daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
14. Assists the Manager in leading the team to deliver the best service possible.
15. Develops employees' motivation and team spirit by creating a good working atmosphere.
16. Integrates and trains employees, providing support for skills development.
17. Ensures that employees are well presented (uniforms, personal hygiene, etc.).
18. Makes sure that the hotel's pricing policy and sales pitches are duly applied to optimize REVPAR.
19. Maximizes upselling and offers appropriate room category for the guest; ensures the guest receives the accommodation he/she is expecting.
20. Ensures the Group's loyalty program (ALL) is promoted to the guests.
21. Motivates and drives the team to attain the department's targets.

Your Experience and Skills

1. 2 years’ experience in the hospitality industry in the same position.
2. OPERA experience is a must.
3. Excellent organizational, communication, and supervisory skills.
4. Ability to prioritize tasks and complete them in a timely manner.
5. Guest-oriented and service-minded.
6. Good listening and analytical skills, attentive.
7. Commercial know-how.
8. Diplomacy and self-control.
9. Self-confidence & Dynamic.
10. Good team player.
