Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough credit and equity research, including financial statement analysis, credit risk assessment, and evaluation of companies and industry trends in order to utilise quantitative analysis techniques and build financial models.
Provide detailed research reports and recommendations to portfolio managers to ensure accurate information and advice is provided.
Assist in the development and maintenance of investment models and strategies, monitoring market trends and macroeconomic factors in order to recommend innovative suggestions.
Collaborate with Relationship Managers (RMs) and investment advisors in order to support client engagement and new business development.
Contribute to the development of innovative local and international investment strategies to ensure innovative best practice products are considered and introduced to the product portfolio.
Engage in the launch process for new products and manage the lifecycle of existing offerings to ensure successful implementation.
Skills:
At least 7 years of experience in credit research, equity research, or a combined role within a financial services firm.
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Proven track record of conducting detailed financial analysis and producing actionable investment recommendations.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills with proficiency in financial modelling and statistical analysis.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex research findings clearly.
Proficiency in using research databases and financial analysis tools.
