Job purpose
The Senior Relationship Manager is the main point of contact for all clients. The main responsibility of this role will be to contribute to the Company’s commercial expansion. Our client is seeking Relationship Managers who come from a private banking or asset management background and who have experience with HNW and UHNW private clients. The successful candidates must have a book of business to bring with them into this role.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Bring your own portfolio of clients, with a demonstrable history of relationships.
2. Identify potential prospects and develop them to become clients of the firm.
3. Advise customers regarding the management of their portfolios and execute their instructions.
4. Identify new products required in the market and have these periodically developed with specialists.
5. Constantly explore investment opportunities with the client per their risk appetite.
6. Liaise with custodian banks when required, to structure and supply products and services as requested by the clients.
7. Actively introduce clients and prospects to senior team members and seek guidance and support in terms of relationship management and products to develop them.
8. Maintain a good understanding of the regulatory framework, legislation, and best market practices.

Skills and Experience
Our client seeks an entrepreneurial candidate who can manage their own book to generate net new money and revenues for the firm, while identifying new prospects and developing them to become clients. The client book must be organically grown, and not inherited. Must have experience supporting clients greater than USD 3 million in AUM. Confident with exceptional interpersonal skills. Strong experience in international private banking or asset management is a must. Good knowledge of financial products and international financial markets. The candidate must be able to make positive contributions to the team. Fluent English, other languages a plus. Impeccable work ethic, self-starter with an international mindset.

Experience (essential to any successful application)
Minimum of 7 years experience in a senior wealth management role within private banking or asset management.
