AtkinsRalis are currently looking for experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor (Villas) to join our team to work on newly awarded projects across varying sectors and various locations within UAE. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing team on high-profile projects within UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

Precontract:

• Cost Planning and estimating;
• Value Engineering, cash flow forecasts, Whole Life Costing, risk management;
• Bills of Quantities production (POMI and CESSM3);
• Tender services including compilation, tender analysis, negotiations, and recommendations;
• Contract drafting (FIDIC).

Post contract:

• Management of bonds, insurances, and guarantee logs;
• Interim valuations and payment certificates;
• Variations analysis, recommendations, and management;
• Risk and value management and cost control functions;
• Costs analysis project work;
• Identifying, analysing, and developing responses to commercial risks;
• Preparation of progress/ cost reports;
• Reporting to Associate Director on all commercial issues;
• Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations;
• Attendance and representation at commercial meetings.

Experiences and Qualifications:

• Experience in Villas project is required.
• MRICS or APC candidate who anticipates completing chartership in specified time period.
• Experience in one of the following key sectors: hospitality, residential buildings, infrastructure, etc.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognised university;
• Minimum of 10 years experience;
• Minimum of 5 years UAE/international experience;
• Must have consultant and/or client background for a minimum of 3 years;
• Knowledge in the use of QS software (Cost X or similar) is required;
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills;
• Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills.
