Manage the full lifecycle of quantity surveying activities from pre-construction to project completion.
Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual requirements.
Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
Monitor project costs and financial performance, providing regular reports to stakeholders.
Review and negotiate contracts with clients and subcontractors.
Coordinate with project teams to ensure all procurement processes are efficient and cost-effective.
Resolve disputes and claims related to contract and project costs in a timely manner.
Conduct valuations of work completed and prepare interim payment applications.
Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry, preferably in the UAE.
Professional membership with a recognized quantity surveying institution (e.g., RICS, AIQS) is preferred.
Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and project management principles.
Proficiency in quantity surveying software and tools, such as CostX or similar.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.
