We Are Hiring: Senior Purchase Officer

Noqtat Al-Nada Group is looking for a Procurement Officer with at least 5 years of experience in the United Arab Emirates in the contracting and general maintenance field to join our team. You will be responsible for sourcing and procuring general contracting materials for our company and ensuring that we are getting the best possible prices for the materials we need.

Duties:

1. Review procurement documents and prepare orders
2. Negotiate prices with suppliers
3. Develop and monitor cost-reduction strategies
4. Develop and monitor inventory minimum limits control procedures
5. Develop and monitor purchasing policies
6. Develop and implement IT policy within the procurement department
7. Meet with suppliers when needed
8. Understand, analyze, and evaluate enterprise-wide procurement requirements.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
2. Encourage continuous improvement in competitive bidding practices
3. Track and schedule all materials and equipment purchase orders
4. Open new accounts as needed
5. Track inventory levels and manage purchasing activities
6. Develop and maintain inventory control procedures
7. Review supplier proposals and invoices
8. Discuss and analyze material and equipment needs with engineers
9. Track and report budgets by month, budget variance, and actual budget
10. Improve operations through process improvements
11. Develop and implement systems to monitor vendor performance
12. Attend vendor meetings
13. Develop cost control plans
14. Document policies and procedures
15. Coordinate with staff, operations personnel, and outside agencies to ensure materials and equipment are available when needed

Requirements:

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
