Senior Projects Manager

Job Description
The Senior Project Manager-Technical Operations will lead the industrial District technical teams, oversee all projects technically wise, and ensure operations meet the highest quality standards. Act as the primary technical point of contact, driving innovation, managing resources, and aligning the District activities with its strategic objectives. As the Project Manager of all technical aspects, the Senior Project Manager-Technical Operations will play a role in integrating advanced technologies to ensure the District outcomes align with national strategic goals while fostering innovation and achieving operational excellence.

Tasks and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Oversee all technical activities & operations in the District, ensuring high-quality prototyping and manufacturing processes.
2. Supervise, mentor, and develop technical staff, fostering professional growth and a collaborative environment.
3. Approve project plans, timelines, and technical procedures, ensuring that they align with client requirements and hub capabilities.
4. Supervise integration of new technologies and workflows.
5. Drive the adoption of new technologies and innovative processes to improve prototyping and manufacturing workflows.
6. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement best practices.
7. Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, offering expert advice and addressing technical challenges.
8. Oversee project proposals, tenders, and bidding documents.
9. Monitor project progress, schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.
10. Coordinate the procurement, maintenance, and upgrading of equipment and materials.
11. Implement continuous improvement initiatives and best practices across the District.
12. Identify and integrate advanced equipment and methodologies to enhance capabilities.
13. Optimize processes and systems using engineering principles.
14. Any assigned tasks by UAEU SIP management.

Minimum Qualification
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics) is required.
* Working experience in managing and setting up innovation & prototyping labs.
* Work experience in training or with educational institutions.

Preferred Qualification
* Master’s degree in management or engineering management is preferable.

* A minimum of 7-10 years of working experience in the engineering field.
