Senior Project Manager - Oil & Gas - Offshore Design

Responsibilities

1. Contribute during project acquisition phases by preparing technical proposals and developing project execution strategies.
2. Review and understand contract requirements, ensuring compliance with Quality Assurance and Control.
3. Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and interact with external parties, suppliers, and subcontractors.
4. Manage procurement processes and participate in contract negotiations, evaluating risks and opportunities.
5. Oversee project implementation in compliance with HSE requirements, acting as the project focal point for the client.
6. Prepare and implement the Project Execution Plan (PEP), managing project scope, budget, resources, schedule, quality, cash flow, and stakeholders.
7. Organize and lead project meetings and review workshops, ensuring effective communication of project expectations and client requirements.
8. Supervise progress reporting, project monitoring, and control with support from the project services team.
9. Identify and manage project dependencies, critical paths, risks, and changes in project scope.
10. Coach, mentor, and supervise project team members and subcontractors, developing best practices and tools for project execution and management.

Qualifications

1. Minimum 5-6 years as a Project Engineer or Engineering Coordinator and subsequently minimum 6 years as project manager in Oil, Gas & Industrial related projects.
2. Minimum 16-18 years, preferably in Engineering and Consulting roles; knowledge of the construction processes and procedures would be a plus.
3. Minimum 6 years of experience in a PM role as a project manager and 5-6 years as a Project Engineer or Engineering Coordinator in Oil, Gas & Industrial related projects.
4. Experience with FEED and detailed design; ADNOC experience preferred.
5. Ability to work independently and in a team, with high awareness of safe working practices.
6. Proficient in MS Office, including MS Project and VISIO (or equivalent).
7. Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Process, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation and Control, or Industrial Engineering from a recognized university.
