Job Title: Senior Project Manager
Reporting To: Area Manager OG&I

Job Summary:

The Senior Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of preFEED, FEED, and detailed design projects within the Oil & Gas sector. The role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget. This position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and effective communication skills.

Main Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Commercial and Sales teams during the tender phase, preparing technical proposals and other necessary documentation.
• Support project managers in the management of preFEED, FEED, and detailed design projects, ensuring successful technical and financial outcomes.
• Attend or lead internal and external project meetings, contributing to discussions and ensuring accurate documentation of Minutes of Meetings.
• Track project progress, coordinate with the project engineering manager, and prepare weekly and monthly reports.
• Ensure all project deliverables are submitted according to schedule and develop recovery plans for any delays.
• Initiate and oversee the preparation of claims or Variations Orders (VORs) in coordination with the project manager.
• Interpret client requirements and communicate them effectively to project teams.
• Ensure compliance with industry codes, practices, QA/QC procedures, performance standards, and specifications.
• Work closely with the project manager and other stakeholders to provide technical support and assistance as required.

Application Requirements:

• Strong technical knowledge of Gas or Oil Processing Facilities and pipeline design.
• Ability to plan and organize engineering and project management activities logically.
• Experience in preparing Invitation to Tender (ITT) packages.
• Sound understanding of typical contract terms and conditions, including contract-related risk management.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in MS Office with basic knowledge of MS Project and Primavera.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
  • 5-7 years of experience in a discipline engineering role.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in executing Oil & Gas projects (upstream, midstream, downstream), particularly in FEED and detailed design stages.
• Educational Qualification:
  • Bachelor's degree in Process, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation & Control, or Industrial Engineering from a recognized university.
• Language Skills:
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory.
