Where does this role fit into the bigger picture?

The Senior Project Manager - Dubai Future Forum is responsible for leading and managing key strategic projects that drive Dubai’s position as a global leader in foresight and futurism. This role requires an experienced professional who can deliver high-impact projects, coordinate with key stakeholders, and oversee the successful execution of the Forum’s activities in alignment with Dubai Future Foundation’s mission.

Senior Project Manager

As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead, oversee, and deliver strategic initiatives from conceptualization to completion. You will manage multiple projects, processes, budgets, and delivery milestones, ensuring the seamless execution of the Dubai Future Forum. Your role will involve strategic planning, stakeholder coordination, and high-level execution to ensure the Forum’s success and long-term impact.

Project Management

• You will be leading the full project cycle, including budget management, setting objectives, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely delivery.
• You will be developing well-structured project proposals, including budgets, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
• You will be brainstorming with teams to critically assess and enhance project ideas.
• You will be establishing best practices for project execution, ensuring alignment with the Forum’s strategic goals.
• You will be communicating openly with team members and stakeholders, providing regular updates and recommendations.

Third Party Relationships

• You will collaborate with government entities, international organizations, and thought leaders to ensure impactful partnerships.
• You will oversee procurement, logistics, and vendor relations to ensure smooth project execution.
• You will coordinate with internal teams, including Corporate Affairs, Strategy, and other Dubai Future Foundation verticals, to identify synergies and leverage cross-team collaborations.
• You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve project milestones and maintain quality standards.

Who we are looking for?

• As a Senior Project Manager within DFI – Dubai Future Forum team, you will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Research, Economics, Business Administration, Political Science, Engineering, or a relevant field with experience in project management. A Master’s Degree would be advantageous.
• You will have a minimum of 8 years’ experience with proven success in managing multiple ongoing projects.
• You will have strong people management skills, be able to clearly communicate direction and strategy and mobilize resources quickly.
• You will have excellent written and spoken Arabic and English communication.
• You will demonstrate strong negotiation and planning capabilities with a strong dedication to completing projects with an ability to handle deadlines, multiple projects and different stakeholders.
• You will be comfortable in designing and creating high quality presentations, have strong public speaking capabilities, and have advanced Microsoft Office knowledge, especially in PowerPoint.
• You will be proactive, professional, curious, driven and motivated individual who is interested in exploring global and regional ideas, and trends.
• You will be a team player and willing to support where needed to ensure the projects run smoothly.
• You will have excellent attention to detail, be able to multi-task and meet tight and changing deadlines.
• You will have a working knowledge of marketing to be able to deliver content on tight deadlines and be capable of communicating the right message.
