Senior Project Manager

Currie & Brown is looking for a Senior Project Manager with Hospitality and Mixed-use experience to join our Project Management team in Dubai, UAE.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be managing project stakeholders and providing leadership to the project team.

What will you be doing?

1. Responsible for project definition and delivery.
2. Establishing project delivery plans and appropriate control mechanisms to assure effective delivery of the project.
3. Leading the project team and performance management of the Currie & Brown team.
4. Working within established financial systems to independently produce plans and schedules and track and manage budgets, highlighting variances to manage and control project delivery targets.
5. Using knowledge and experience of industry best practices to review and manage project processes and policies, providing insightful recommendations that support senior management to improve processes and systems.
6. Interacting effectively and proactively across the organisation to develop ways to support collaboration and ensure projects can be delivered to meet customer expectations.
7. Advising senior management on progress and issues relating to own project, providing subject matter advice to support successful delivery in line with project objectives and strategies.
8. Presenting any business project risks or issues to senior managers (with proposed mitigation) to ensure the project is not adversely impacted and ensuring the delivery of projects to compliant standards.
9. Liaising and collaborating with clients and stakeholders to ensure all parties are informed and aware of project progress and expectations.
10. Delivering aspects of Currie & Brown’s vision to their respected project(s).

What do you need?

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
2. Project management professional certification or accreditation.
3. Proven team leader capabilities, behaviours, and values.
4. Experience during both pre-contract and post-contract phases.
5. Knowledge of industry best practices.
6. Excellent contract administration experience.
7. Commercial acumen and the ability to manage relationships with external stakeholders.
8. Proven ability as a trusted advisor to the client.
