Senior Project Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Consultant Project Manager to join our clients team working with an established consultant in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should possess strong project management skills, extensive knowledge of construction methodologies, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inputting the project conception stages, including providing advice on the different approaches that can be adopted in order to successfully achieve the project objectives.
2. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
3. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and construction standards.
4. Facilitate communication between the client, contractor, and project stakeholders.
5. Establish effective project governance, processes, and systems ensuring these are kept to throughout the project lifecycles.
6. Review and approve construction plans and designs.
7. Manage the feasibility and budget forecasting for projects.
8. Manage project risks and resolve any issues that arise during construction.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field.
2. At least 10 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on large-scale development projects.
3. Must have worked within the GCC.
4. Experience working projects in the education sector would be beneficial.
5. Proven track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects on time and within budget.
6. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
7. Knowledge of construction industry standards, regulations, and practices.
8. A member of a recognised body e.g. RIBA, CIOB, RICS.
