Job description

To ensure that new projects and change activities required from the Digital and Technology Department function in relation to new business units are aligned and managed towards Miral’s overall strategy and towards the Digital and Technology strategy. To have the ability to plan and prioritize efficiently to achieve optimal usage of the technology resources and deliver maximum business benefit. To have the ability to share a holistic view of the project progress by leading project initiation, planning, and execution towards closure. Additionally, the PM role is responsible for effective and efficient resource management to drive and deliver results. This role will require working with multiple clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. Recommends digital technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.

Essential:

  1. Infrastructure experience
  2. ITIL v4
  3. PMP/Prince 2/Six Sigma
  4. BS in Computer Science
  5. Five years of progressively responsible IT experience, with sensitivity and commitment to business problem solving
  6. Five years of successfully managing complex and risky projects
  7. Five or more years of BU or BU-facing experience, with sensitivity and commitment to business problem solving
  8. Experience in leading diverse teams
  9. Experience and ability in using “soft skills” or “people skills”
  10. Distinctive blend of business, IT, financial and communication skills. This blend is vital because this is a highly visible position with substantial impact.
  11. Ability to adapt to new circumstances in a changing business environment.
  12. Good understanding of current and emerging technologies, and of how other enterprises are using them to drive digital business.
  13. Ability to support a tactical resource plan by mapping future demand to forecast project completions in the project portfolio.

Desirable:

  1. Management of Personnel Resources
  2. Reading Comprehension
  3. Knowledge of project management methodology and experience or familiarity with major, defined program management approaches (for example, that of the Project Management Institute or PRINCE2 and agile approaches).
  4. Significant knowledge of project planning/scheduling tools (for example, Microsoft Project and Open Workbench), with a solid track record of practical application.
  5. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; expertise in setting and managing customer expectations.
  6. Effective influencing and negotiating skills in an environment in which this role may not directly control resources.
  7. Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence.
  8. Seven plus years of progressively responsible IT experience, with sensitivity and commitment to business problem solving
  9. Five years of successfully managing complex and risky projects
  10. Five or more years of BU or BU-facing experience, with sensitivity and commitment to business problem solving
  11. Experience in leading diverse teams
  12. Experience and ability in using “soft skills” or “people skills”
  13. Masters in Information Systems
  14. Yellow Six Sigma
