Liaise with Commercial and Sales team during the Tender phase by preparing technical proposals and other deliverables.
Support project managers in managing pre-FEED, FEED, and Detailed Design projects, sharing accountability for technical and economic results.
Attend or lead internal and external project meetings, and assist in preparing and finalizing Minutes of Meetings.
Monitor work progress, liaise with the project engineering manager, and prepare weekly and monthly reports.
Ensure project deliverables are submitted on schedule or prepare recovery plans in case of delays.
Initiate the preparation of claims or VORs in coordination with the project manager.
Interpret clients’ requirements and communicate them effectively to the team.
Monitor compliance with applicable codes, practices, QA / QC procedures, performance standards, and specifications.
Cooperate and communicate effectively with the project manager and other participants to provide assistance and technical support.
Qualification
General technical understanding of Gas or Oil Processing Facilities and pipeline design.
Logical planning of engineering and project management activities.
Experience in preparing ITT Packages.
Knowledge of typical contract terms and conditions, and understanding of contract-related risks.
Excellent time management skills, able to work efficiently on multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in MS Office, basic MS Project, and Primavera skills.
5-7 years of experience in a discipline engineer role.
Minimum 5 years of experience in executing Oil & Gas projects (upstream / midstream / downstream) with FEED and detailed design experience.
Minimum bachelor’s degree in process, mechanical, civil, electrical, instrumentation and control, or industrial engineering from a recognized university.
