Senior Project Engineer

Qualifications and Experience

Engineering Degree: Overall automation systems understanding, combined with process knowledge in one of the following sectors: Oil & Gas, Power & Water.

Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role and experience in the automation area.

Technical Knowledge:

1. Knowledge of ABB systems (e.g., 800xA with AC 800M & IEC 61850).
2. Knowledge of Industrial Cyber security and networking solutions for control systems.
3. Experience with Onshore and/or Offshore Oil and Gas customers such as ADNOC and/or Power & Water sector experience.
4. Good hands-on experience in ABB 800xA with AC 800M & IEC 61850, and/or other systems like Network Manager.
5. Good knowledge and/or expertise in ABB PPM (Process Power Manager) Library with Load Shedding and Load Sharing applications.
6. Proficiency in interface configuration using different protocols (e.g., IEC 61850, IEC 101, IEC 104, Modbus, Profibus, OPC, etc.) between PMS/SCMS/LDC/Electrical SCADA systems and third-party systems or field devices.

Language: Fluency in English language.

Additional Knowledge: Knowledge of MicroSCADA systems will be an advantage.
