Senior Procurement Officer - Maxit Advertising LLC

Job Summary

A market leading telecommunications business based here in Dubai is currently looking for a Senior Procurement Officer to lead the implementation of new and alternative sourcing strategies, manage high-level negotiations, and streamline processes and procedures for the procurement team.

This position has a succession plan into management.

Responsibilities

• Implement and review supplier contracts
• Sourcing of products and services
• Implement and monitor current purchasing strategies, including volume negotiations, rebate schemes, and planning lead times and supplier capacity
• Provide strategic guidance to the current procurement team
• Prequalify and onboard new suppliers
• Manage strategic relationships with current suppliers
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to fully understand requirements

Requirements

• Experience in sales with quotation processes while providing procurement expertise, technical advice, and guidance to achieve savings and improve production speed
• Facilitate smooth and orderly flow of information between purchasing, shipping, sales, production, and clients
• Coordinate production schedules with the sales operations and production teams
• Check product stocks for goods ordered by procurement for artwork quality and data accuracy
