Senior Procurement Executive

JOB ROLES

• Oversees end-to-end procurement activities for local and international conferences, events, and marketing initiatives.
• Coordinates with cross-functional teams to understand event and marketing requirements and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Prepares and manages procurement contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Identifies, evaluates, and establishes relationships with event organizers, travel agents, hotels, printing and advertising companies, and other relevant vendors.
• Ensures all vendors meet company standards for quality, compliance, and ethics.
• Develops and maintains a preferred supplier database.
• Negotiates favourable terms and pricing agreements with suppliers while ensuring quality and compliance standards.
• Monitors procurement budgets and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
• Analyses supplier proposals and select the most cost-effective options.
• Ensures strict adherence to compliance standards for procurement related to infant formula products.
• Implements and monitors internal controls to mitigate risks and ensure audit-readiness.
• Conducts periodic reviews and audits of suppliers to ensure adherence to contractual terms and quality expectations.
• Collaborates with finance and accounts teams to process payments, track expenditures, and manage budgets.
• Prepares detailed procurement reports for management, including cost analysis and vendor performance metrics.
• Supports audits by maintaining accurate records of all procurement activities.
• Acts as the primary point of contact for suppliers and vendors.
• Collaborates with internal teams to address procurement-related challenges and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Provides regular updates to senior management on procurement performance and market trends.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

> With more than 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related fields, preferably in the FMCG or healthcare industry.

> With extensive and significant professional experience with event organizers, travel agents, and advertising agencies.

> With a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
