Senior Process Safety Engineer

As the senior, you will be leading a team of engineers to deliver projects in various disciplines including the following: Risk & Safety, Rig Safety, Environment, & SIL.

Responsibilities include:

1. Providing guidance on the appropriate risk mitigation measures required for operational and integrity related Process Safety issues.
2. Providing guidance for operational issues on safety engineering systems including fire / explosion protection systems, and emergency facilities.
3. Providing guidance, development and lateral learning to other Technical Safety Engineers.
4. Facilitating hazard workshops for Process hazards. These may include HAZID, HAZOP, SIL classification and Facility Layout and Siting.
5. Completing HSEIA deliverables. These may include Fire & Explosion Risk Analysis (FERA), Consequences Modelling, Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA), Fire & Gas Mapping Study, Air Dispersion Modelling (ADM), ALARP Demonstration, Escape Evacuation Risk Assessment (EERA), Emergency System Survivability Analysis (ESSA), Control of Major Accidental Hazards (COMAH), Bow-tie Analysis etc.
6. Managing discipline work to the required schedule and manhour allocation, including requesting personnel as identified by the plan, and day-to-day supervision of sub-discipline personnel on the project.
7. Being responsible for departmental PnL.
8. Identifying work in progress and revenue forecasting.
9. Assisting in the preparation of technical & commercial proposals.
