Job Description

The position is designed to bring process expertise/support for the operation and for the implementation of upgradation projects at sites dedicated to Hazardous Waste, particularly in the incineration and related pre-treatment processes, including: TDU, deoiling tricanter, Stabilization, Class I and II landfill, PCT, mercury treatment unit, and Incineration lines with a capacity around 60 KTA.

Organizational Context: He/she reports to the project delivery manager in close collaboration with the local delivery team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Performance and optimization analysis regarding ongoing operation.
2. Act as a support to operations.
3. Support in the sizing of process and related thermal equipment.
4. Support to the establishment of all the schematics (PID/PFD/BFD/SFD..) according to the Process.
5. Support for the preparation of engineering documents: Data Sheet, specifications, etc.
6. Support for Engineering reviews (Process Review, Design Review, Hazid, Hazop).
7. Support for project risk analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Engineering Discipline (Chemical / Process Engineering preferred).
• 10 years' experience in separation and heat treatment processes.
• Strong chemical engineering/process engineering background in hazardous waste.
• In-depth knowledge of engineering techniques and rules.
• Reading of plans and technical drawings (PFD, PI&D, PSFD...).
• Creativity and taste for innovation.
• Ability to work in a multicultural international environment.
• Good communication with project and operations teams.
• Good practice of English.

Additional Information

• Must be proficient in English and Arabic (Read, write and speak).
• Willing to relocate to Ruwais, Abu Dhabi, UAE (Full time).
