Lead and manage process engineering activities during FEED and detailed design phases for offshore oil and gas projects.
Develop process simulations, process flow diagrams (PFDs), and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) for offshore facilities.
Provide technical leadership and expertise in the design of process systems, ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, structural, electrical, etc.) to ensure process design is fully integrated with the overall project.
Conduct process optimization, hazard analysis, and safety assessments (HAZOP, LOPA, etc.) to ensure safe operations.
Support procurement and construction teams with process design and troubleshooting during the project lifecycle.
Review and approve technical documentation, ensuring quality control and adherence to project specifications.
Lead process design reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers.
Ensure compliance with offshore regulatory and environmental standards, safety protocols, and best practices.
Interface with clients, stakeholders, and third-party vendors to ensure alignment on project requirements and deliverables.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
15+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with extensive experience in FEED, detailed design, and offshore projects.
Strong knowledge of process engineering principles and offshore oil and gas systems.
Expertise in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS).
In-depth understanding of offshore safety regulations, codes, and standards (API, ASME, etc.).
Proven track record of successful offshore project delivery from design to commissioning.
Excellent leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills.
