Senior Process Engineer (Offshore)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage process engineering activities during FEED and detailed design phases for offshore oil and gas projects.
• Develop process simulations, process flow diagrams (PFDs), and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) for offshore facilities.
• Provide technical leadership and expertise in the design of process systems, ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, structural, electrical, etc.) to ensure process design is fully integrated with the overall project.
• Conduct process optimization, hazard analysis, and safety assessments (HAZOP, LOPA, etc.) to ensure safe operations.
• Support procurement and construction teams with process design and troubleshooting during the project lifecycle.
• Review and approve technical documentation, ensuring quality control and adherence to project specifications.
• Lead process design reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers.
• Ensure compliance with offshore regulatory and environmental standards, safety protocols, and best practices.
• Interface with clients, stakeholders, and third-party vendors to ensure alignment on project requirements and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with extensive experience in FEED, detailed design, and offshore projects.
• Strong knowledge of process engineering principles and offshore oil and gas systems.
• Expertise in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS).
• In-depth understanding of offshore safety regulations, codes, and standards (API, ASME, etc.).
• Proven track record of successful offshore project delivery from design to commissioning.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills.
